Lunar Lander LMII
Artists renditions are not meant to imply any official endorsements.
The LMII lander will be an aluminum tube chassis covered by thin aluminum skin. We will be using off the shelf parts from companies and military surplus. A single rocket engine will be used for the push to the Moon and the descent onto the Moons surface. This craft is single stage and will carry 2,500-10,000lbs of freight that will be carried internally. The lander will be unmanned and will also serve as a survival post and fuel depot for future astronauts. Steady launches of 3 supply landers a year to the Moon will be our normal procedure beginning in 2012.
Launch Platforms: This craft is designed to work in multiple large launch platforms including: Ariane V, Delta IV, Atlas V, Proton and the coming Space X Falcon 9 Heavy and NASA Ares V rockets.
This craft is being designed and built by people of all backgrounds. We have construction workers, engineers, shade tree mechanics and highly trained satellite technicians. There are people who can turn a wrench and people who can use a CNC machine to make a wrench.
Come join our Team and make a story that will be in the history books.
